Cookie City

Remember how we talked about imagination a little while ago? Well our imagination juices are about to burst! I asked for a special little gift for Mother's Day and Dad really pulled through for the two of us. This little girl was almost as excited about my Birthday/Mother's Day gift.

I don't want to make this a shameless plug for this darling kitchen set, but we have already been served a billion cookies at our house. Audette even puts the oven mitt on and says "hot" when she goes to the oven. We are having quite the jolly time playing together. Plus, we set this up in the kitchen and I love having a little mini me while I prepare dinner.

If you are in the market for a kitchen set for your little girl or boy, here are some we found (so you don't have to do the research):

Pottery Barn Kids - Simply White Retro Kitchen: You can get it in two separate pieces or just one. They are on sale right now and adorable, but a little pricey. Can't go wrong with Pottery Barn Kids, though.

KidKraft - Vintage Kitchen: It comes in red, pink and white. The red and pink are available at Target and at a very reasonable price. The white can be found at Amazon. It also comes in two pieces if you have a big house and lots of space.

We opted for the red from Target, the single piece, to fit in our little spaces.

I can't say enough good things about Melissa & Doug. They have incredible accessories for kitchens. We love the cookie set. You can get them from Pottery Barn Kids, Target, Amazon, sometimes you can even find them on sale at T.J. Maxx.
