A quick wash with soap and dry during lunch had the rocks ready for playing and sorting. Rocks are perfect catalysts for creative play. These colorful buckets made for excellent places to store the smooth rocks, the jagged, the black and the white. It was the perfect time to teach heavy and light, big and little.

Looks like you are having a blast exploring your new territory, Little Miss Audette! Collecting Rocks is my FAVORITE thing to do, especially on the chilly beaches of Oregon & Washington! Tell your mommy and daddy to take you on a Ferry to explore the San Juan Islands - you will find great treasures up there - but make sure you leave some for me!
ReplyDeleteDebbie,
DeleteThis place is beautiful! What a wonderful place to grow up for a little girl! I actually have a friend who just sent me an email with all of her favorite places to visit around the San Juans. We will be planning a trip soon! And be sure to let us know when you come visit. Much love to you from all of us, especially Miss Audette.
